RAH 2017: Pre Run Day 2

Feb 16, 2017 - Today we had nothing scheduled. But as it turns out, that isn't always a bad thing. During breakfast we struck up a conversation with Mackendy who works at the Joshua house. We ended up talking for over an hour about Gia life, his work, and ultimately he shared his testimony with us.  

This was the last full day before the rest of the team shows up. I took this day to relax and focus on the next week of activity. Thinking back to last year it is awesome to know what type of terrain lies ahead. I found myself looking forward to many aspects of the run, and dreading some others. 

In the evening Rodger and I met up with our friend Frantz, who started Haitian Creole Tours. It turned into a pretty eventful day for not having anything planned.
