RAH 2017: Running Eve

The day is upon us. This is the last day before the run starts. Tomorrow we will be hitting the road and closing the gap between Cap Haitian and Jacmel.  

Today all of the runners arrived at the Rival Hotel, it was like going back to summer camp and seeing all of your friends again. There are a number of new faces too which is always encouraging. We all gathers for lunch and dinner, had some meetings, went for some runs, and talked about the run we are about to take part in. Our first run will be 39 miles to the city of Plaisance, we start the run at 4:00am tomorrow morning. Starting this early will get us out of the direct sun for a few hours which will be much appreciated later in the day. Please pray for us as we prepare for this journey.
