RAH 2017: Travel Day
As I sit in my parents living room watching the office and double checking everything that I packed, I can't help but think about how excited I am to be going back to Haiti. For the first few days I will be working with my friend Rodger getting some footage for the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation. This will be a transition into the running conditions of Haiti than I had last year. On the 2016 Run Across Haiti, we flew in the day before the run started, which gave little time to get acclimated to the heat.
On Sunday of this week I had the honor of preaching at Lebanon Church about the time we have and how we value it. Are we using our time to do something worthwhile? Or are we just wasting it? Are our actions reflecting what God is calling us to do with our gifts? I am so proud to be part of this team again this year, I feel that God is doing great things through these people and Team Tassy. 40+ people are using their talents to help bring dignified jobs to the people of Haiti. I pray that His will can be done through the actions of this group.
